Boat launches

​

Every boat launch grants its users a transition from land to water, from a manmade place to a more natural place, from everyday life to an adventure, from home to a distant place, from breakfast to another day of work, or from one seasonal routine into another.  Each performs its function with humble or proficient design according to its duty.  Each one displays both common and personal characteristics as well as the imprints of its users upon its condition, and I hope to capture these things in each photograph.
